The old version is more like youtube segments than anime. Tokyo ghoul needs almost 100 ep for a faithful remake The reboot probably won't happen,unless they put tons of effort into it,like jjba And don't forget that it took almost 25 years for jojo to get a faithful adaptation
There is even an manga named dororo and it took more than 50 years to a good adaptation. It would be a dream come true to have an aot anime situation happen to tokyo ghoul. I think if chainsaw man gets faithfully adapted and makes a killing in terms of profit, then this could pave the way for such projects like a tokyo goul remake to happen
Chainsaw man is far from what’s considered the run of the mill shonen and quite frankly i can’t believe shonen jump even let this manga get published in their main magazine.
